Maximum demand measures the highest level of electrical power demand registered in a particular period. Uganda’s Electricity Supply Industry was greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the peak demand dropping to as low as 588.5 MW in April 2020 from 728.7 MW in February 2020.
