By the end of  2025, the transmission network had grown to 5,383 km from 3,431 km in 2021 representing a 57% increment with the 132kV lines dominating the network at 3,740 km followed by the 220kV lines at 1,002km. The 400kV and 66kv lines remained constant at 606km and 35 km by end of  2025 as it was in 2024.Â
