By the end of June 2025, the transmission network had grown to 5,383 km from 3,101 km in 2020 representing a 73% increase, with the 132kV lines dominating the network at 3,740 km followed by the 220kV lines at 1,002km. The 400kV and 66kv lines remained constant at 606km and 35 km respectively by June 2025.
